SAIPAN — The CNMI Office of the Attorney General is accepting applications for an IT Network Administrator, a position responsible for maintaining the office’s network infrastructure, security and day-to-day technical support.
The role covers installing, configuring and maintaining network hardware and software, monitoring network performance and troubleshooting issues, managing user accounts and access permissions, performing regular backups and security patches, implementing network security policies and controls, and maintaining network documentation and equipment inventories. The administrator also works with vendors and service providers on technical issues, provides technical support to staff, and assists with IT projects, system upgrades and infrastructure improvements.
The posting requires 2 to 5 years of experience in network administration or a similar IT role, strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs and network security, and experience with routers, switches, firewalls and wireless networking. Applicants should be familiar with Windows or Linux server environments and demonstrate strong troubleshooting, communication and organizational skills, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ or Microsoft networking certifications are preferred but not required.
