SAIPAN — Saipan’s water filling stations will close effective Sunday, July 12, the Commonwealth Utilities Corporation announced Saturday, hours after the utility reported reaching 24-hour water service across the island.
With steady progress in water restoration, homes and communities are now receiving running water throughout the distribution system, CUC said in a public advisory. Customers who find themselves without water in their area should contact Customer Service.
The filling stations remain open today from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. with a filling limit of 100 gallons per vehicle, up from the previous 25-gallon limit, at Eloy S. Inos Peace Park, Capitol Hill and William S. Reyes Elementary School.
Customers are encouraged to report any leaks to Customer Service at (670) 664-4282.
CUC thanked the community for its continued patience and support throughout the restoration efforts.
