Saipan Rescue Flight Schedule Extended Through Wednesday; Philippine Airlines Removed From Monday

SAIPAN — The Commonwealth Ports Authority has extended the Saipan rescue flight schedule through Wednesday, April 22, adding new flights on Tuesday and Wednesday while removing Philippine Airlines and a tentative United Airlines flight from Monday’s lineup, according to Port Update 11 issued Sunday at 5:02 PM.

Monday’s confirmed schedule now includes United Airlines from Guam at 8:50 AM and T’Way from Incheon at 9:30 AM, followed by Hong Kong Airlines from Hong Kong at 3:15 PM.

Two new flights are now scheduled for Tuesday, April 21: United Airlines from Guam at 8:50 AM and T’Way from Incheon at 9:30 AM.

Wednesday, April 22 adds a United Airlines flight from Narita via Guam arriving at 12:45 PM.

Saipan Airport remains open for rescue flights only with no commercial service. Both runways are clear but daytime operations only due to navigational aid damage. All six jetways remain inoperable with a stair truck in use. The airport has no power and is running on a generator with no running water.

All CNMI seaports remain closed. Passengers should contact their airline directly for rebooking information.
