SAIPAN — The Northern Marianas College Nursing Department has extended the deadline to submit Fall 2026 applications for admission to Wednesday, May 20, and rescheduled the Nursing Program Admission Test following Super Typhoon Sinlaku, the college said.
Pre-Nursing students who complete their prerequisites by the end of the Spring 2026 Semester may submit their applications by May 20. Applicants approved by the Department Chair will be eligible to take the Nursing Program Admission Test on June 24 or 25, NMC said.
I-ROUTE STUDENTS
Pre-Nursing students who chose the I-Route for their remaining Spring 2026 prerequisite can still submit an application for admission by May 20. I-Route students must complete their remaining Spring 2026 prerequisite by Friday, August 7. If approved by the Department Chair, those applicants will be eligible to take the Nursing Program Admission Test on August 12 or 13.
All prerequisites except SO297 must be completed with a grade of C or higher for the Fall 2026 Admission Period, NMC said.
Pre-Nursing students enrolled in the Summer 2026 Session to complete their final prerequisites may apply for the Fall 2027 Admission Period the following year.
HOW TO APPLY
Applicants must submit applications by email to andrew.mendiola@marianas.edu by the new deadline. A study guide will be provided upon receipt of the application. Once the application period closes, applicants will be notified of their eligibility status by the Department Chair through their NMC Student Email.
