Tonight stays unsettled at 50 percent with lows around 77. Thursday opens the drier window for Saipan and Tinian, mostly sunny with isolated showers before scattered island effect showers and isolated thunderstorms build in the afternoon, at a 30 percent chance. Thursday night through Friday returns to 40 percent, and forecasters flag locally heavy showers possible again around Friday as the disorganized monsoon pattern continues.
On the water, combined seas of 5 to 6 feet subside to 4 to 5 feet tonight as the west-southwesterly swell eases, then build back to 6 to 8 feet over the weekend. Light to gentle westerly winds hold, with gusts to 20 knots near heavier showers today.
