Saipan — The Department of Public Safety has filed charges against the driver in the auto-motorcycle collision that killed a motorcycle operator on July 23 along Chalan Pale Arnold Road in Chalan Lau Lau.
Jimmy Pallada, 62, has been charged with vehicular homicide, failure to yield the right-of-way to a vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle with an expired driver’s license, DPS said in a press update Wednesday.
The charges follow a preliminary investigation that included evidence collected at the scene, witness statements and a statement obtained from the vehicle operator, the department said.
The case has been forwarded to the Office of the Attorney General for prosecution.
