SAIPAN — CUC line crews energized 21 additional customers on Rota’s Feeder 2 as of Sunday, bringing the total receiving power to 424, the utility said Monday, as restoration work shifts to primary lines in Songsong Village, from Leadership Park to Rota Junior/Senior High School.
Crews also installed one additional power pole in Sinapalo II Village, while the total installed in Songsong Village stands at 33.
The corporation cautioned that the day’s schedule may change with weather, field safety concerns, system conditions, access issues, material availability or other operational needs.
CUC repeated its standing safety reminder: customers running generators or solar power systems should turn off their main circuit breaker as crews energize their area, protecting line crews, customers and the electrical system.
