SAIPAN — The Public School System Child Nutrition Program will resume curbside grab-and-go breakfast meals, lunch meals and snacks on PSS austerity days beginning Monday, Aug. 24, the school system announced, with distribution running 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. while supplies last.
A current school year ID is required to receive meals, with SY 25-26 IDs honored until Sept. 21. Each student ID is eligible for one meal set per day, and ID cards will be scanned to record participation. Families bringing multiple IDs may receive one meal set per valid student ID presented.
Distribution sites on Saipan are Tanapag Middle School, Chacha Oceanview Middle School, Garapan Elementary School, Oleai Elementary School, Dandan Middle School, William S. Reyes Elementary School, Francisco M. Sablan Middle School and Saipan Southern High School. On Tinian, meals will be distributed at Tinian Elementary School, and on Rota at Sinapalo Elementary School and Dr. Rita H. Inos Jr./Sr. High School.
The resumption means students can access school meals on the days campuses operate under the school system’s austerity schedule. For questions or assistance, families can call 664-3901.
