SAIPAN — The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. announced an emergency water service interruption for Kagman I and Kagman II from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday to allow CUC Water operators to repair a service lateral leak along Nika Place in Kagman I.
Customers in the area will experience low to no water pressure between the specified hours, CUC said, and should allow one to two hours for the water lines to pressurize fully once service is restored.
To ensure the safety of the CUC crew, motorists are advised to reduce speed and exercise caution while driving in the area or to take alternative routes, the utility said.
CUC apologized for the inconvenience and said it appreciates the community’s cooperation and understanding as the crew works to restore water service to the affected areas.
