SAIPAN — The Office of the Governor received a briefing from federal partners on ongoing recovery efforts following Super Typhoons Sinlaku and Bavi, with updates on several critical missions across the Commonwealth, the office said Friday.
The briefing covered progress on temporary shelter and roofing missions, debris clearing and power generation as local and federal partners continue working together to restore essential services and support families and communities impacted by the storms.
The office said the recovery efforts represent a continued commitment to moving the CNMI from immediate response toward long-term recovery and rebuilding, and expressed gratitude to FEMA and all federal, local and community partners working alongside the people of the Commonwealth.
