SAIPAN — Commonwealth Utilities Corporation line crews are continuing power restoration work across seven feeder areas on Saipan Thursday, with secondary line and service drop installations ongoing.
Crews are working Feeder 1 laterals in Garapan along Alaihai Avenue, Feeder 4 laterals in the Kagman Homesteads and Feeder 7 laterals at Tanapag Headstart. On the Kiya feeders, work continues in San Vicente at Lamasa Place, As Lito along Dahon Drive, Chalan Laulau at Amara Place and on Kiya 4 laterals at the FilCom Pavilion and Tan Ko Baseball Field.
CUC reminded customers connected to a generator or solar power system to turn off their main circuit breaker as crews energize their area, a step that protects line crews, customers and the electrical system.
