Saipan — The Commonwealth Utilities Corporation Board of Directors will hold a special meeting Wednesday, August 5 at 8:30 a.m., with the solar project, a financing RFP and the utility’s financial condition all on the agenda.
The meeting will be held in the CUC Conference Room, Room 17, on the third floor of the Joeten Dandan Building. Public attendance is welcome.
The board will take an update on the status of the solar project, consider an RFP for financing, and take up independent power producer and public private partnership matters. It will also receive an update on CUC’s financial condition and recovery status.
Also on the agenda are proposed amendments to Title 50-70, the executive director’s report, an executive session, and announcements.
Public comment is scheduled after preliminary matters. Comment is limited to 30 minutes in total and each remark is limited to three minutes. Written and oral testimony are both accepted.
