SAIPAN — IT&E has set up a shade tent at a military reverse osmosis water distribution site, providing relief from recent hot weather for community members collecting clean drinking water during Super Typhoon Sinlaku recovery, the company said.
Janice Tenorio, IT&E Customer Service Manager, said the initiative is part of the company’s community engagement work. The reverse osmosis system, produced by the military, supplies clean water that residents are using for drinking, cooking, cleaning and for their animals.
“Given the recent hot weather, the IT&E tent will provide much-needed shade for community members who come to collect gallons of water,” Tenorio said. “We aim to ensure a comfortable experience while they access this essential resource. Your health and well-being are our top priorities, and we are committed to supporting our community in every way possible.”
