FBI Reviewing Online Video of Woman Claiming to Be Faloma Luhk

SAIPAN — The FBI is reviewing a video circulating online that shows a woman claiming to be Faloma Luhk, one of two Saipan sisters who disappeared in 2011, the agency confirmed.

Faloma Luhk and her sister Maleina were last seen on May 25, 2011, at a bus stop near their home in As Teo, Saipan, where they were waiting for the school bus. The sisters, ages 10 and 9 at the time, have not been seen since. The case remains one of the most prominent unsolved disappearances in the CNMI.

In the video, which appeared on a YouTube channel, the woman says she has been missing since age 10 and references details that appear in the Luhk missing-person case, including a date of birth of February 9, 2001. NMI News Service is not naming or showing the woman, and her identity has not been verified.

NMI News Service provided the video to the FBI, which confirmed it has viewed the footage and is looking into it. The bureau has not confirmed the woman’s identity or any connection to the case.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the whereabouts of Faloma and Maleina Luhk. According to the FBI, Faloma was last seen wearing a light green shirt with a butterfly design and blue jeans. The case is handled by the FBI’s Honolulu Field Office.
