SAIPAN — The Commonwealth Utilities Corporation will shut off water service to portions of As Matuis, San Roque, and Tanapag on Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to allow crews to repair a 1¼-inch mainline leak, CUC said in a public advisory.
Customers in the affected areas will experience low to no water pressure during the two-hour repair window. CUC said the public should allow one to two hours for water lines to fully pressurize after service is restored.
The northbound lane of Chalan Pale Arnold Road at the Matansa Drive intersection will be closed during the repair to ensure crew safety, CUC said. Motorists are advised to reduce speed and exercise caution while driving in the area or to take alternative routes.
