SAIPAN — The Commonwealth Utilities Corporation said the Tinian power system is preparing to energize distribution lines serving District 1, partial San Jose, partial Subdivision and partial Marpo at 10 a.m. Friday.
CUC urged customers connected to a generator or solar power system to switch off their main circuit breaker before the lines are energized. The utility said leaving the breaker on will create an unsafe condition for line crews working to restore power.
Home and business owners are encouraged to be at their facility when power is restored in the listed areas.
