SAIPAN — The CNMI Joint Information Center is urging all residents impacted by Typhoon Sinlaku to apply for federal disaster assistance, with three ways to do so now available following President Trump’s signing of the major disaster declaration.
Residents can apply online at DisasterAssistance.gov, by phone at 1-800-621-3362 or (671) 735-1050, or through the FEMA app available on Google Play and the Apple App Store. Standard long-distance rates may apply for phone applications.
The JIC said the process takes only a few minutes. Residents are urged not to wait.
