SAIPAN — A team of 20 U.S. Forest Service personnel led by supervisor Joe Labak has arrived on Saipan to assist with ongoing recovery efforts following Super Typhoon Sinlaku, the Saipan Mayor’s Office announced.
The Forest Service team will be embedded with the Mayor’s Field Operations teams to assist in recovery work throughout the island.
“The Saipan Mayor’s Office warmly welcomes 20 personnel of the U.S. Forest Service led by supervisor Joe Labak to our island,” the Mayor’s Office said.
