NMI’s Simon Tang Takes Silver in 400m Hurdles at Oceania Championships

DARWIN, Australia – Northern Marianas hurdler Simon Tang took silver in the Men’s Under-20 400-meter hurdles Thursday at the Oceania Athletics Championships in Darwin, finishing in 57.43 seconds.

Tonga’s Mounga Leao won gold in 56.15, and Tang’s compatriot from Tonga, Eric Tuiono, took bronze in 57.65, 0.22 seconds behind Tang, according to live results from the meet.

The championship is being held May 18 through May 23 at the Marrara Sports Complex.
