DPS: All Saipan Beaches Now Open; Debris Warning in Effect for Water Activities

SAIPAN — The Department of Public Safety announced Friday that all beaches on Saipan are now open to the public following Typhoon Sinlaku, but is urging anyone planning to swim or engage in recreational water activities to exercise caution.

DPS said debris including tree branches and other materials may still be present in the water and could cause serious injury. Beachgoers are urged to stay alert, be mindful of their surroundings and keep safety a priority.
