PSS Ends Grab-and-Go Meals, Will Launch Summer Food Program June 8

SAIPAN — The Public School System has concluded its Grab-and-Go Meal Distribution Program, ending meal handouts at school distribution sites, PSS said in an update.

This week, PSS Child Nutrition Program staff are partnering with the Nutrition Assistance Program to help distribute shelf-stable food commodities to NAP households, the school system said.

PSS said its team is preparing to launch the Summer Food Service Program on June 8. Information on meal sites, schedules and eligibility will be announced soon.

The school system thanked the community for its support and patience during the transition to summer meal services and said more details will follow.
