A Special Thank You to IT&E

When Typhoon Sinlaku made landfall, NMI News Service needed a place to work.

IT&E opened their doors.

Throughout this storm response and recovery, IT&E’s facility is serving as our temporary studio and headquarters and providing us the connectivity, the space and the support we need to keep the information flowing to a community that is counting on information.

While the island remains without power and water, while roads are still being cleared and the recovery is far from over, IT&E is making sure we can do our jobs. Every bulletin, every graphic, every story, every update that reaches you during these difficult days is made possible in part because IT&E believes in what we are doing and is standing behind us.

That is not a small thing. In a disaster, reliable information saves lives. And you cannot deliver reliable information without reliable partners.

To the entire IT&E team, your generosity, your professionalism and your commitment to this community during its most vulnerable moment mean everything to NMI News Service and to the people we serve together.

We are proud to call you partners. We are honored to call you friends.

Si Yu’us Ma’åse’. Ghillisow. Salamat Po. Thank you.
