Northern Marianas Protection and Advocacy Systems, Inc. is asking the community for comments and suggestions on its proposed Statement of Goals and Priorities for fiscal year 2027, with the comment window open through Tuesday, September 30.
The draft sets three goals for the year: providing legally based advocacy services for individuals with disabilities and their families in the CNMI, including direct representation for at least one more eligible individual than the organization served in FY 2026; advancing community understanding of protection and advocacy services and disability-related issues, including local and federal disability law; and strengthening the organization’s own operations, staffing and funding.
