HAGÅTÑA — Guam’s Department of Revenue and Taxation, working with the Department of Administration, has disbursed its fifteenth batch of 2025 individual income tax refunds, pushing the year-to-date total past $119 million, the Office of the Governor announced Saturday.
The latest batch totals $4,864,188.03 across 2,131 payments, made up of 1,559 paper checks and 572 electronic fund transfers. It brings total refunds paid this year to $119,135,308.80, covering tax filings submitted on or before April 5, 2026.
DRT said it continues to process 2025 returns in the order they were filed, and that turnaround times will keep fluctuating between eight and ten weeks due to the surge in return volume. Residents who owe taxes and cannot pay in full can contact DRT’s Collection Branch to discuss payment options.
The administration cast the disbursement as delivering on its commitment to return funds to taxpayers as quickly as possible.
