SAIPAN — IT&E will distribute approximately 400 hygiene kits Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the company’s pop-up tent at the Survivor Recovery Center at the Multipurpose Center in Susupe, the company said.
The kits are free and available while supplies last. Recipients do not need to be IT&E customers to receive one.
IT&E CEO David Gibson said the kits were assembled by IT&E employees in both Guam and Saipan over the past week and a half and include essentials for residents impacted by Super Typhoon Sinlaku. Items pictured in the kit include toothpaste, a toothbrush, shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent and intimate care items, packed in a reusable IT&E tote bag.
“They came up with a list of what they thought were the essentials,” Gibson said of his team during a Good Morning Marianas interview. “Again, while supplies last, please come down and grab them.”
The pop-up tent is open daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and offers tech support, bill payments, sign-ups and a free charging station. The hygiene kit distribution will run from 2 to 4 p.m. only.
Gibson said IT&E plans to set kits aside for Tinian residents as well.
