SAIPAN — HSEM and FEMA will distribute bottled drinking water to Saipan residents at the Airport Field beginning Thursday, April 23 from 9:00 a.m. to noon, or until supplies last, according to JIC Update 009 issued Tuesday.
The water arrived on a FEMA relief flight. Distribution is limited to one case per family and is open to all residents. Additional distribution locations will be announced in the coming days.
Residents can access the site on foot or by vehicle. Those arriving on foot should use designated pedestrian lanes to avoid vehicle traffic. All vehicles must remain in line. The entrance is on the field behind the American Red Cross. The exit is near the Flame Tree Road and Sineso Road intersection.
