Guam Power Authority Ships 34 More Poles to CNMI for Typhoon Recovery

SAIPAN — The Guam Power Authority shipped an additional 34 concrete poles to the CNMI on Thursday in support of post-typhoon recovery efforts, bringing its total deliveries to 163 poles, the agency said.

The Guam Power Authority, identified as GPA, said the poles are intended to aid critical restoration work in the Commonwealth.

GPA thanked the Port Authority of Guam, the Commonwealth Utilities Corporation, FEMA, and other partners for assisting in what it described as a coordinated effort to support its island neighbors.
