SAIPAN — CNMI residents affected by Super Typhoon Sinlaku have 10 days left to apply for FEMA Individual Assistance and SBA disaster loans, with the deadline falling Monday, June 22 at 11:59 p.m. ChST.

Residents may apply in three ways. By phone, applicants can call FEMA at (671) 735-1050 or (800) 621-3362, or the SBA at (800) 659-2955. Online, FEMA applications are available at DisasterAssistance.gov and SBA disaster loan information at sba.gov/disaster. In person, residents can visit a Survivor Recovery Center on Saipan, Tinian or Rota for help with their application.

The June 22 deadline applies to both FEMA Individual Assistance and SBA physical damage disaster loans under the major disaster declaration for Super Typhoon Sinlaku. SBA economic injury disaster loans remain available until Jan. 25, 2027.

Officials encourage anyone affected by the disaster who has not yet applied to do so before the deadline.
