SAIPAN — E-Land Foundation announced Tuesday a $100,000 cash donation to support Typhoon Sinlaku recovery efforts in the CNMI, delivered through its subsidiary Micronesia Resort Inc. during a meeting with Governor David M. Apatang and leaders of the Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation.

“We believe it is our responsibility to stand with the CNMI community during this difficult time,” said Jiwoon Lee, CEO of Eland Park. “We hope this contribution will support urgent recovery needs and help the community return to normal as quickly as possible.”

E-Land Foundation is also preparing to provide relief supplies, with additional shipments to be coordinated once logistics and transportation arrangements are finalized.

“As a long-term investor and operator in CNMI, we are deeply committed to supporting the community not only in times of growth, but also in times of hardship,” said Yunkyu Jung, General Manager of Kensington Hotel.

E-Land Group operates Kensington Hotel Saipan, Pacific Islands Club Saipan and Coral Ocean Resort in the CNMI. The company said it will continue working with local government and community organizations to support recovery and rebuilding efforts in the weeks ahead.

Also present at the donation presentation were CHCC Chief Executive Officer Esther Muna and Director of Public Health and Hospital Emergency Preparedness Warren Villagomez.
