Between its April 10 activation and 6 a.m. June 2, the agency transported 1,403 shelterees, first responders, and individuals with medical needs.

The breakdown included 921 medical transports, 339 shelterees, 73 categorized as others, 52 to the airport, and 18 military transports.

On current operations, COTA said Call-A-Ride Rota and Call-A-Ride Tinian are both fully operational, with reservations made at (670) 236-2682. Call-A-Ride Saipan has resumed normal operating hours, running Sunday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., with reservations requested two days in advance.

The Transit CNMI fixed route Blue Line 1B continues to operate on modified hours, Sunday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. With some bus stop signs still missing after the storm, the agency asked riders to raise a hand and flag down drivers before the bus arrives.

COTA said it appreciates the public’s patience as it works to restore all services and will continue to provide updates as conditions improve.
