HAGÅTÑA — Guam’s Department of Revenue and Taxation and Department of Administration said the latest wave of 2025 individual income tax refunds has brought the year-to-date total to $37.3 million across 10,022 returns.
Officials said the most recent batch totaled $11,792,219.06 and covered 3,526 returns filed on or before February 4. Governor Lourdes A. Leon Guerrero said the administration has made efficient processing and timely payment of tax refunds a priority since taking office. Lt. Governor Joshua F. Tenorio said quick refund payments matter for working families facing affordability pressures.
The release said DRT continues to receive and process 2025 income tax returns, with taxpayers having until April 15 to file. Officials also said refund turnaround times are expected to fluctuate between six and eight weeks because of the volume of returns being processed. Residents who owe taxes and cannot pay in full may contact DRT’s Collection Branch to discuss payment options, according to the release. Taxpayers seeking more information or assistance may also contact DRT’s call center or email the agency.
