SAIPAN – The Marianas Alliance of Non-Governmental Organizations has opened registration for a September series of in-person and virtual sessions aimed at nonprofit leaders, board members, volunteers and anyone curious about the sector.
The lineup opens September 3 with What is a Nonprofit?, a virtual session from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on nonprofit purpose, structure and responsibilities. A Legislative Guide for Funding follows September 8 from 10 a.m. to noon at the MANGO Resource Room, covering how to navigate the legislative funding process.
Board of Directors Training runs twice: September 12 from 9 a.m. to noon in person at the Resource Room, and again September 19 in the same time slot virtually, both covering board roles, fiduciary duties and effective operations. A virtual session September 16 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. introduces MANGO membership benefits and the organization’s Data Portal, which helps nonprofits share their impact and access resources.
MANGO said the sessions offer practical information for newcomers and veterans alike.
