Wet Week Ahead for the Marianas as Surf and Rip Current Advisories Wind Down Overnight

SAIPAN – The high surf advisory along west-facing reefs expires at 5 a.m. Tuesday and the high rip current risk ends late tonight, the National Weather Service said in its 6 p.m. forecast, but a disorganized monsoon pattern will keep showers and thunderstorms over the Marianas all week, with locally heavy rain possible starting Friday.
