Guam Pays Out Latest Refund Batch, Pushing 2025 Total Past $135M

HAGÃ…TÑA, Guam — Guam’s Department of Revenue and Taxation has disbursed its latest batch of individual income tax refunds, paying out more than $2.4 million and pushing the year’s total past $135 million, the Office of the Governor announced Tuesday.

The latest batch totaled $2,440,802.07 across 1,116 payments, with 862 paper checks and 254 electronic fund transfers, according to the release. The installment brings total 2025 individual refunds paid to $135,169,447.52 for the year to date, covering tax filings submitted on or before May 10, 2026.

The department, working with the Department of Administration, said it continues to process 2025 income tax returns in the order they were filed. Due to a surge in return volume, turnaround time will continue to fluctuate between eight and 10 weeks, the release said.
