Guam Pays Out 10th Batch of 2025 Tax Refunds, Totaling $84.5 Million Year to Date

HAGÅTÑA — Guam’s Department of Revenue and Taxation has disbursed its tenth batch of individual income tax refunds for 2025, bringing the total paid for the year to date to about $84.5 million, the agency said Tuesday.

The latest batch, processed with the Department of Administration, totaled $6,041,797.97 across 2,339 payments, the agency said. That included 1,812 paper checks and 527 electronic fund transfers. The batch covers tax filings submitted on or before February 27.

Revenue and Taxation said the installment brings the total amount paid to $84,542,855.20 for the year to date. The agency said the Leon Guerrero-Tenorio administration is delivering on a commitment to return funds to taxpayers as quickly as possible.

The department said it continues to process 2025 income tax returns in the order they were filed. Residents who owe taxes and cannot pay the full amount may contact the agency’s Collection Branch to discuss payment options.

Because of a surge in the volume of returns, turnaround time will continue to fluctuate between eight and ten weeks, the agency said.
