SAIPAN – A community member working on Sinlaku debris cleanup in Dandan on Thursday spotted three boys riding their bikes together, helping each other along with an outstretched arm for the occasional boost. An hour later, while heading home through Papago, they saw the same three boys still riding.
The submitter pulled over to ask if the boys needed a drink or anything else and learned the trio had started in San Antonio. By that point they were on their way to Garapan, with plans to ride the entire perimeter of Saipan.
“They were energetic and kind, and even though school is out they were putting their day to great use,” the community member wrote in their submission to the NMI News Service Show Us the Good Out There feature.
