SAIPAN – A network of Saipan churches will operate four pop-up lifeline hubs Thursday through Sunday offering free Wi-Fi, device charging, printing for federal assistance forms and prayer support to residents still recovering from Super Typhoon Sinlaku.

The hubs are organized under the name Signal of Hope and described by organizers as a faith community response intended to help residents reconnect after the storm.

Each hub offers Wi-Fi access, charging stations for mobile devices, printing assistance for FEMA, Red Cross and other recovery forms, and prayer and spiritual support.

The schedule is as follows.

Thursday, May 14, Garapan, 3 to 8 p.m., at the 38Mitsubachi outdoor patio. Hosted by Life in the Son Christian Fellowship in partnership with 38Mitsubachi.

Friday, May 15, San Antonio, 5 to 8 p.m., at Grace Christian Assembly. Hosted by GCA San Antonio.

Saturday, May 16, Dandan, 4 to 7 p.m., at Jesus is Lord Church. Hosted by Jesus is Lord.

Sunday, May 17, Navy Hill, 1 to 5 p.m., at PEC on Navy Hill. Hosted by Palauan Evangelical Church.

Organizers said the effort is meant to serve communities and restore connections as residents continue to rely on FEMA, the American Red Cross and consular services to access recovery assistance.
