ROTA — Representatives from the FEMA Individual Assistance program are on Rota and will be contacting residents who have already applied online or by phone to assess their homes, the Rota Mayor’s Office said in a public notice.
Residents who applied for disaster assistance may receive calls from off-island numbers beginning with area codes 202 or 940. The Mayor’s Office said these calls may be from FEMA representatives regarding applications and asked residents to answer them to avoid delays in assistance processing.
For Rota residents who have not yet applied, a FEMA team will be on-site at the Sinapalo Youth Center to help complete applications, starting Monday, May 11, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Residents visiting the Sinapalo Youth Center for application help should bring a valid government-issued ID and a utility bill, the Mayor’s Office said.
The last day to register for FEMA assistance is June 22, 2026.
Residents can also apply for FEMA Individual Assistance online at DisasterAssistance.gov, through the FEMA Mobile App, or by phone at (671) 735-1050 or (800) 621-3362.
