SAIPAN — Commonwealth Utilities Corporation water crews from Rota have arrived on Saipan to work alongside local crews as restoration efforts continue following Typhoon Sinlaku, CUC announced Wednesday.
CUC said it is grateful for the support from its Rota division and described the arrival as a critical boost during the ongoing recovery phase.
“Thank you, CUC Rota, for standing with your sister island during this critical recovery phase,” CUC said.
Saipan’s water system currently stands at 41 percent restored with a boil water notice still in effect.
