FEMA Water Distribution Underway Now at Airport Field; One Case Per Family

SAIPAN — FEMA bottled water distribution is underway Thursday morning at the Airport Field, with residents lining up to receive emergency drinking water as recovery from Typhoon Sinlaku continues.

Distribution runs from 9:00 a.m. to noon, or until supplies last. One case per family. The entrance is behind the American Red Cross. The exit is near the Flame Tree Road and Sineso Road intersection. Residents may arrive on foot or by vehicle. Those on foot should use designated pedestrian lanes to avoid vehicle traffic. All vehicles must remain in line.

The water arrived on a FEMA relief flight. Additional distribution locations will be announced in the coming days.
