SAIPAN — The Commonwealth Office of Transit Authority remains activated in support of CNMI Homeland Security and Emergency Management recovery operations, with limited bus service continuing for essential trips as roads are assessed following Typhoon Sinlaku.
Call-A-Ride Rota has resumed normal operational hours. Residents may call COTA’s One-Call One-Click Transportation Information Resource Center at 670-236-2686 for reservations.
The Blue Line 1B Fixed Route remains suspended until roads are determined to be safe and accessible.
Call-A-Ride Demand Response on Saipan and Tinian is operating for essential trips including hemodialysis, prescription refills, clinic visits and scheduled appointments. Service is limited and prioritized by need and road accessibility.
COTA said all service decisions are based on current conditions and coordination with emergency officials.
