Saipan Chamber sets March 11 economic forum at Kensington Hall, highlights tourism, workforce, infrastructure and military issues

SAIPAN — The Saipan Chamber of Commerce is moving ahead with its 4th Annual Economic Forum on Wednesday, March 11, at Kensington Hall at the Kensington Hotel Saipan, with Chamber leaders calling the event a key venue for business, government and community stakeholders to discuss the Commonwealth’s economic direction.

The Chamber said the forum will bring together business leaders, policymakers, industry professionals and community stakeholders for a full day of discussions focused on strengthening the CNMI economy and shaping the future of the Marianas. The Chamber said this year’s agenda will focus on tourism, economic diversification, workforce development and policy, infrastructure, and the military’s role in the Marianas.

The Chamber described the forum as one of its signature events and said this year’s discussions are intended to address both current challenges and emerging opportunities while encouraging collaboration between the private sector and government partners to support long-term economic resilience.

Chamber President Dr. Joshua Wise said the forum gives the business community, policymakers and partners an opportunity to share insights and engage in meaningful dialogue on the island’s challenges and opportunities, adding that collaboration and informed decision-making are especially important as the CNMI works through major economic issues.

The doors will open at 7:30 a.m. The program is scheduled to begin at 8:15 a.m. and conclude at 5:00 p.m., followed by a networking mixer from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided throughout the day.

Registration is listed at $50 for Chamber members and $55 for future Chamber members. Attendees can register through the QR code on the event graphic or online through the listed registration link.
