SAIPAN — The Saipan Chamber of Commerce will host its 2025 Business Person of the Year (BPOY) & Board of Directors Installation Gala on Saturday, Jan. 31 at Kensington Hotel Saipan.
The annual gala brings together leaders from the private, public and nonprofit sectors to recognize contributions to Saipan’s business community and the CNMI. The event’s top honor will be the 2025 Business Person of the Year Award, recognizing a chamber member for leadership, innovation and community commitment.
Additional awards listed for the night include Chamber Member of the Year, Non-Profit of the Year, Small Business of the Year, and a new category, Public Agency of the Year.
For the Business Person of the Year selection, the chamber said it is introducing a weighted voting process: 60% of the vote from past BPOY recipients and 40% from the Saipan Chamber of Commerce membership. Nominees must be current chamber members, residents of Saipan, and in good standing.
The evening will also include the official installation of the 2026–2027 Saipan Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, elected by the membership, and formal recognition of past Business Person of the Year recipients.
