NMC Opens Registration for Spring 2026 Semester

SAIPAN — Northern Marianas College has opened registration for its Spring 2026 semester, inviting new and returning students to apply for programs ranging from business and nursing to education, hospitality, and criminal justice.

The semester begins January 20, 2026, and applications for admission — including all supporting documents — must be completed online through the NMC APPLY portal at www.marianas.edu/apply

by Friday, January 9, 2026. Supporting documents such as a health evaluation form with a valid TB skin test, a government-issued ID, and SSN/TIN card must be uploaded together through the portal. Official transcripts from previously attended institutions must be sent directly by email to admissions@marianas.edu.

For those who need assistance, the Office of Admissions and Records at the NMC campus (Building N-3) is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays, to help applicants submit their materials.

New students must take NMC’s Math and English placement tests unless they qualify for placement alternatives. Testing is by appointment only on a first-come, first-served basis, with registration available online. Students who attended Start Smart or an NMC info session within the year may qualify for a placement test fee waiver. New and readmitted students must also complete NMC’s online student orientation before registering for classes.

NMC’s offerings include bachelor’s degrees in education (with concentrations in early childhood, elementary, rehabilitation and human services, and special education) and business management (with or without an accounting concentration). Associate degrees are available in business, business administration, hospitality management, liberal arts (including emphases such as education, kinesiology, pre-engineering, and social work), nursing, agriculture, natural resources management, criminal justice, and fire science technology. Certificate programs range from basic law enforcement, business management, computer applications, and early childhood education to hospitality operations, fire science technology, nursing assistant, and small business management.
