SAIPAN — Mobil announced Monday morning that some of its service stations on Saipan have been temporarily closed as a precaution ahead of Super Typhoon Sinlaku, while four locations remain open for customers needing to fuel vehicles or generators.
As of 8 a.m. Monday, April 13, the following Mobil stations remain open: Garapan, Middle Road, Chalan Kiya and Susupe. Mobil said it is monitoring Condition of Readiness level changes and will provide updates on additional closures as conditions develop.
Residents should complete all fueling now. Conditions are expected to deteriorate rapidly this afternoon as Sinlaku approaches with Typhoon Condition I taking effect at 2 p.m.
