SAIPAN — Mobil raised fuel prices across all grades Monday, with unleaded and premium climbing 20 cents per gallon and diesel surging 65 cents.
Last night the new Mobil prices put unleaded Extra at $6.719 per gallon, up from $6.519. Supreme+ rose from $6.969 to $7.169. Diesel saw the steepest climb, jumping from $9.339 to $9.989 per gallon.
Shell followed with its own price adjustments later Monday after close of business.
The increases mark the latest in a series of fuel price changes in the CNMI, where residents and businesses rely on imported petroleum products and have little buffer against global market swings.
