MANGO Offers Free Nonprofit Workshops Throughout April

SAIPAN — The Marianas Alliance of Non-Governmental Organizations is offering a free series of nonprofit capacity-building workshops in April, open to nonprofit leaders, staff and community members across the Commonwealth.

The series includes four workshops and three membership information sessions, with both virtual and in-person options available.

The first workshop, “What is a Nonprofit?”, takes place virtually April 13 from 9 to 11 a.m. and covers how nonprofits operate and their role in communities. On April 17, an in-person session at the MANGO Resource Room from 9 to 11:30 a.m. focuses on data management, including turning data into visuals and connecting information to the Sustainable Development Goals. A sustainability workshop on April 20, also in-person from 9 a.m. to noon, will cover long-term planning, partnerships and revenue-generating strategies. The series closes April 30 with a virtual session on aligning nonprofit programs with the SDGs.

MANGO will also host membership information sessions April 14, 15 and 27, covering membership structure, annual fees, benefits and access to the nonprofit database. Morning sessions are in-person and afternoon sessions are virtual.

Registration is required for all sessions and closes the day before each workshop. The full schedule and registration are available at mangocnmi.org/events.
