SAIPAN — IT&E has launched a new loyalty program called The Loop, offering customers who spend $150 or more per month a package of benefits including 50 cents off per gallon of fuel at Shell stations, free international data roaming and a free service of their choice, CEO David Gibson announced Wednesday on Good Morning Marianas.
Gibson, who joined host Brad Ruszala live in studio, was emphatic that the announcement was not an April Fools’ joke.
Customers enrolled in The Loop will receive 50 cents off every gallon of fuel at Shell, with the discount tied to their Pacific Points account. Free data roaming is included for travel to the Philippines, Japan, South Korea, China, Taiwan and the mainland United States. Customers may also choose one free service from IT&E’s lineup, including additional phone lines, MiFi devices, Beam fixed wireless internet or other available plans.
The program is open to both new and existing consumer customers. Existing customers already spending $150 a month will be automatically enrolled by early next week. New customers and those looking to adjust their plans must visit an IT&E store.
Customers who sign up or renew their plan within the next two weeks will also be entered into a raffle to win a Toyota Corolla Cross, in partnership with AK. The drawing is set for April 19 at the Oleai store, with a registration cutoff of April 15. The giveaway is specific to the CNMI and is separate from IT&E’s Guam promotion.
Gibson said The Loop is a limited-time enrollment offer, with a three-month window to sign up. Once enrolled, customers remain in the program and will automatically receive additional benefits as IT&E adds partners and perks over time.
Gibson also used the appearance to promote IT&E’s Beam fixed wireless internet service, describing it as three to four times faster than DSL at approximately 30 percent lower cost, and currently the least expensive internet option available on the island.
The Loop is available to consumer accounts only and does not apply to business plans. Customers with questions or needing assistance can visit any IT&E store.
