Flame Tree Arts Festival Postponed Due to Tropical Storm Sinlaku, Rescheduled for April 24-26

SAIPAN — The Commonwealth Council for Arts and Culture has postponed the 45th Annual Flame Tree Arts Festival due to the approaching Tropical Storm Sinlaku, rescheduling the event from its original April 17-19 dates to April 24-26 at Civic Center Park.

The festival will run from 5 to 11 p.m. each evening at the same venue. CCAC Executive Director Gloriana M. Teuira said the decision was made to ensure the safety of attendees, speakers, community members and staff.

“We are incredibly disappointed to postpone the 45th Annual Flame Tree Arts Festival, but we believe this is the best decision under the circumstances,” Teuira said. “We appreciate the hard work of our team and the patience of our sponsors and supporters.”
