SAIPAN — The Department of Public Safety is asking for the public’s help to locate Christopher Hiroaki, who investigators say remains at large in connection with a burglary and copper wire theft at the former T-Galleria building in Garapan, after two other suspects were arrested on warrants signed this week.
DPS said the case stems from a Nov. 24, 2025 burglary report at the former T-Galleria site, where investigators determined 50–60 feet of copper wire was cut and removed with an estimated value of $4,000.
According to DPS, officers responded to the report at about 4:11 p.m. and were provided information about a suspect vehicle described as a blue Kia Sportage with CNMI license plate ADD-480, last seen traveling north behind the building.
DPS said officers later located and identified Ramon Camacho at Plumeria Steakhouse, and he was detained and later arrested as the investigation continued. DPS said Camacho later admitted involvement and identified John Sellem Jones and Christopher Hiroaki as additional suspects, with Hiroaki identified as the driver of the vehicle seen leaving the scene.
Judge Teresa Kim Tenorio signed arrest warrants for Camacho, Jones, and Hiroaki on December 2, and investigators executed the warrants the same day, arresting Camacho and Jones in Garapan. Hiroaki remains at large and efforts to locate and apprehend him are ongoing. DPS listed Hiroaki as a 42-year-old Koblerville resident, and said he is wanted on charges of burglary, theft, and vandalism.
Anyone with information is asked to contact DPS Criminal Investigation Bureau at (670) 664-9042 or remain anonymous by calling the NMI Crime Stoppers hotline at (670) 234-7272.
